Itinerary
After a short safety briefing and personalized bicycle fitting, we will start cycling along Mekong river and visit Golden Triangle area where the three countries of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar come together . After that we will cycle to Chiangsaen the ancient city. Where you will see many ancient sites around the city including Wat Pa Sak ,Wat Phra That Chedi Luang, and many ruin. After that we will continue cycling through some small gently rolling hills of the countryside and pass many of rice fiends and pineapple plantations. We will stop along the way at a small village where you will be able to see native Lanna Thai weavers applying their craft. We will have a nice lunch at the local restaurant on the way. After that we will stop and visit The Biggest woven bamboo Buddha image in the world. We will continue cycle along the scenic river that separates Thailand and Burma up to the town of Mae Sai; the Northern most point in Thailand. After that we will spend time looking at all of the goods imported from Burma and China (including jade and other gemstones). Those interested in purchasing goods will enjoy the opportunity to bargain with the local merchants. After that we will walk up Naga staircase to the Scorpion Mountain and see a beautiful view of Thai and Myanmar border town. After enjoy looking around border town already our car will transfer you back to your hotel.
Remark : 1.For the person who stay overnight in Chiang Saen or Golden Triangle area. Pick up time : Between 09.00 - 09.15 hrs.
2.For the person who stay overnight in Chiangrai city. Pick up time: 08.00 a.m.
