Itinerary
The tour is started at 9 – 9.30 a.m. in front of Chiang Saen district office.
After a short safety briefing and personalized bicycle fitting, we will start cycling through Chiang Saen,  the ancient city to Chiang Saen Lake and wetland conservation area. On the way you will experience real local lifestyle and countryside. We also have a chance to visit buffalo village where local people raise buffaloes for living. We will stop to have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will continue cycling through some small gently rolling hills and pass many of rice fiends, cassava, pineapple plantations to Golden Triangle. Golden Triangle is the place where the three countries of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar come together. We will visit House of Opium (Opium museum) and learn about the history of opium trade that led to the area being called the Golden Triangle. Finally, we will cycle back to Chiang Saen on back road. Remark: It takes around 90 minutes from Chiang Rai city to Chiang Saen (the starting point).

Distance: Total cycling distance is about 50 – 55 km (Cycling on small roads, road in villages, unseal road)
Fitness Level: Suitable for participants in good fitness condition.
