Itinerary

Pick up time : 08.30 – 08.45 am

A covered pick-up truck will transfer you to the starting point outside Chiang Rai city; it takes about 15 minutes. After a short safety briefing and personalized bicycle fitting, we begin our cycling through villages and rice fields, follow the Lao River downstream. The bicycle ride is pleasant with much greenery due to the proximity of the river. While you are cycling you will discover real rural Thailand and see the local lifestyle on the outskirts of Chiang Rai. We will cycle past various fruit orchards and rice fields. We will stop to visit local temple and then have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon we will cycle around Norng Luang Lake to see local life and water buffalos. After that we will cycle to visit local market where you will see local people sell and buy food, fruits, meat, vegetable etc. Finally we will cycle to International meditation center where you will enjoy seeing strange Buddhist sculptures and beautiful landscape. After relaxing for a while our covered pick up truck will transfer you back to your hotel.

Remark : There are gently rolling hills on the last 5 km before the meditation center. If you don’t want to cycle on this part. You can stay in our support car instead.

The tour is finished around 5.00 – 6.00 p.m.
