Itinerary
Pick up time : 08.30 – 09.00 am from hotel/guesthouse/hostel in Chiang Rai city
We will pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Rai city by covered truck and then transfer you to the starting point outside Chiang Rai city. It takes about 15 minutes. After a short safety briefing and personalized bicycle fitting, we begin our cycling through villages and rice fields and then follow the Lao River upstream. The bicycle ride is pleasant with much greenery due to the proximity of the river. While you are cycling you will discover the real rural Thailand and see local lifestyle on the outskirts of Chiang Rai. We will cycle past various fruit orchards, rice fields, rubber plantations and teak trees. The cycling tour will be finished Wat Rong Khun car park. After that we will visit Wat Rong Khun (White temple) and then have lunch at a local restaurant near the temple. After lunch our covered pick up truck will transfer you back to your hotel (1.30 – 2.30 pm).
